Daniel Horenberger, Founder
and Owner of Brass Ring

Brass Ring Entertainment is owned and operated by Daniel Horenberger. Daniel has been in the business of building, restoring and operating carousels for over 20 years.

Born in Marengo, Illinois, Daniel's facility with mechanical things led to an Engineering scholarship to Northern Illinois University. While a student, Daniel was recruited by the famous Junchen-Collins Organ Corporation, at the time the largest restorer of entertainment organs in the world. The opportunity to apprentice with such a prestigious company was more than enough to persuade him to leave school and pursue a career in the amusement world which eventually led him to meet Dave Bradley, the father of the modern day carousel.

Unmatched Carousel Experience

Mr. Horenberger worked with Bradley and Kaye, one of the largest manufacturers of carousel animals in the late 70s and early 80s. Upon the owner's retirement, the company was sold to Chance Manufacturing, the largest manufacturer of carousels and carousel parts today.

Incredibly, Daniel has restored and maintained carousels made by every major carousel manufacturer from classic names like Dentzel, Illions, Looff, PTC, Spillman, Parker, to contemporary makers like Chance, Fabricon, and Allen Herschell.

The Tradition Continues

Mr. Horenberger has dedicated his life to the preservation of the magic of carousels. He has committed himself to continuing the tradition of high quality and attention to detail that the early carousel masters held. Because of his dedication to high standards, we can be sure that carousels embodying the spirit of the Golden Age will continue to be built and enjoyed well into the 21st century.
