San Francisco Zoo Carousel Restoration Part 3

The zoo carousel is closed for the winter. During this time Brass Ring Entertainment will be restoring the frame of the carousel. From all new gears and motor drive to bringing the center housing of the carousel back to original paint, our staff will be working hard to make sure the carousel will reopen in the spring.

The next set of animals will be removed and the restoration started. Come back month after month to watch the progress. This month we have added a bunch of new photo’s for the stripping process of the parts. Rand and Zennon from Los Angeles Stripping and Refinishing have worked hard to do a great job on the stripping. View following photo’s to see the progress.
